Some weekends it’s a few picnic benches for a wedding in a field somewhere nice. Other times it’s full public seating areas getting hammered from midday until headline act finishes.
Either way, we’re used to working on events of all shapes and sizes across Cornwall and the South West, from relaxed private hires through to busy festivals, county shows, food events and community celebrations.
Our benches end up everywhere (much to our enjoyment!) from trader villages and bar areas to wedding receptions and village halls, and because we actually work in events and always have we know that they need to turn up looking right, sturdy under pressure and ready to go straight onto site.

What’s the story?
Truthfully, picnic benches weren’t meant to become this much of a thing.
What started as building a few benches for our event work quickly snowballed once organisers started asking if we could supply more.. and more then more again.
A few seasons later they’ve ended up everywhere from muddy fields, town centres, Cornish beaches and then sold on to live their retirement in some lovely peoples back gardens in or outside restaurants, cafes and bars.
Because we actually work within the events industry ourselves, the benches were designed around proper event use from day one. East to position on site, uniform in appearance, sold enough to handle heavy footfall and cheeky dance on the table and built to survive the British weather.
It has been a massive team effort getting to this point and we’re genuinely proud of what they’ve become. More importantly they do exactly what they’re supposed to do, help event sites work better without becoming another thing organisers and managers need to worry about.

All benches are charged at a minimum 1 week hire rate.
We recommend that you get in touch for a cost, as this will be determined on quantity ordered & delivery and collection address.

A standard 6ft &5ft picnic bench comfortably seats up to 6 adults, with 3 people on each side.
4fts will comfortably sit 4 people. 2 people either side.
For events with mixed groups and higher turnover, we usually recommend allowing slightly more benches to keep seating readily available.

Yes - we provide delivery, installation and collection for events across not only Devon and Cornwall but the further south west!

We stock over 200 picnic benches in 4ft,5ft and 6ft sizes and regularly supply large scale outdoor events, festival, agricultural shows and university events. Multiple vehicle loads and phased deliveries can be arranged where required.

From our base in Launceston, we delivery to event sites right across the South West. Most of our work is within Cornwall and Devon, but we’re well set up to support Somerset, Dorset and surrounding counties, with logistics planned around your event schedule.
